How to Cloud print from your website for free

If you have ever wanted to sell the photobooks, images and ebooks on your website in printed form, then Cloud startup peecho.com is one of your best bets. Totally free, peecho.com was designed to allow people such as designers, photographers and so forth to print their products, sell them and still make a profit, without having to look up an actual printing press company.

Free Cloud print button

Peecho achieves this by asking you to register for free, whereupon they will give you the code to embed in your website. Visitors can then click on the Cloud print button and the order gets sent to peecho.com. Based on settings that you have already set such as price (which means that you can set the price yourself!) the digital publication is then sent to a host of professional printing companies who will print it. This will then be sent to the address stated by the person who clicked the Cloud print button while you get paid through the built-in payment module.

Benefits

The obvious benefit of this is that you do not need to pay a single cent, while monetizing your previously entirely digital operation. Peecho.com states that there is no minimum amount required and it will only invoice you for the cost of the order and not the service so there is no risk involved. Utilizing their bundled API (you may need a programmer for this though) you can also include your own payment module and add other customization as you want. Some notable users like Kodak have used the API to include the Cloud print button in their Android and iOS app so that users can print custom postcards directly from their smartphones. Following the same environmentally friendly focus as Cloud printing in general, this approach lets users print and receive only what they want to print and nothing more so there is no excess and less impact on the environment.

Well-funded

As a plus, peecho.com recently received funding worth $750,000 so this means that they won’t be going anywhere soon. You can expect further expansion though as peecho.com works towards making the service more accessible with more types of functions and features. While peecho.com is a Dutch startup, the actual Cloud print button platform is global allowing you to market your digital publications in their printed form wherever you want.
